话语中视角现象的语用翻译

A Pragmatic Approach to the Translation of Staging in Discourse

本文从语用角度探讨语篇中的视角现象及其翻译。文章认为视角是翻译研究中一个十分重要的对象。一方面,对视角的翻译进行科学而又系统的研究可以帮助澄清作者/说话人意图、译者/译员意图以及语篇之间的互动关系,从而有利于原语向目的语的顺利转化,实现社交语用等效。另一方面,可以从微观把握视角与主位化、主题、标题以及体裁等语篇成分之间的关系,实现目的语的语用语言等效。这将有助于拓展翻译研究的领域,增加其认识深度,为话语分析、跨文化交际等其它学科的研究提供有益补充。

This paper approaches staging in discourse and its translation from a pragmatic perspective. It suggests that staging is one of the most important issues in translation studies. On the one hand, a scientific and systematic study of the translation of staging can help clarify the author＇ s/speaker＇s and the translator＇ s/interpreter＇s intention, as well as the interaction of discourses being specified, which leads to the natural conversion from the source language to the target language and the achievement of sociopragmatic equivalence. On the other hand, a better understanding of the relationship between staging and discourse elements such as thematisation, topic, title, genre, etc. can help realize the pragma-linguistic equivalence in the target language version. All these aid considerably to the enrichment and broadening of the scopes and depths of translation research, but also to the instructive supplement of other disciplines ranging from Discourse Analysis to Cross-cultural Communication.
