The Expression and Significance of Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-1 in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Tissues

摘要 目的研究细胞间粘附分子-1(ICAM-1)在食管鳞癌组织中的表达及意义。方法采用免疫组织化学S-P法检测49例食管鳞癌组织及38例正常食管黏膜组织中ICAM-1蛋白的表达。结果食管鳞癌组织中ICAM-1蛋白表达率为46.9%(23/49),显著高于其在正常食管黏膜组织中的表达0.0%(0/38);ICAM-1蛋白表达率在有淋巴结转移组明显高于无淋巴结转移组;其表达率随癌组织浸润深度的加深而增加;在不同分化程度的癌组织中其阳性率也有一定差异,Ⅰ级与Ⅱ、Ⅲ级之间差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论ICAM-1在食管鳞癌的发生发展中起重要作用,与肿瘤的浸润转移密切相关。 Objective To study the expression and significance of ICAM-1 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues . Methods S-P immunohistochemical method was performed to detect the expression of ICAM-1 in specimens of 49 cases with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and 40 cases with normal esophageal squamous cell epithelium. Results ICAM-1 was mainly localized in the membrane of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The expression rate of ICAM-1 was significantly higher in cancer tissues than those in normal epithelium (P 〈 0.05). And the expression rate of ICAM-1 was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis and infiltrative deepness. There were also differences among the different grades of the cancer tissues . Especially between grade I and grade Ⅱ or Ⅲ ,the differences had statistic significance (P 〈 0.05). Conclusions ICAM-1 played an important role in the occurrence and progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and related with the invasion and lymph node metastasis of the cancer.
