孝道是中华道德文化的精髓,在几千年的社会发展中发挥了特殊的调节亲子关系、维护社会稳定的作用。但是,现代孝道伦理以理想孝道伦理为参照系来考察还有一些不及之处,以纵向传统孝道伦理为参照系来考察还有许多有待继承和发扬之处,以横向其他国家为参照系来考察还有可借鉴和参考之处。

Filial piety, the essence of Chinese moral culture, has played a special guiding role in parents-children relationship, and in safeguarding social stability in the past thousand years in China. However, the ethics of filial piety in today＇s China still needs to be improved compared with ideal ethics of filial piety and Chinese traditional ethics of filial piety as well as that of some other countries.
