AlCl_3原位增容聚丙烯/聚苯乙烯共混物的研究

摘要 采用无水 AlCl_3作为催化剂引发 Friedel-Crafts 烷基化反应,用反应共混的方法制备了聚丙烯/聚苯乙烯(PP/PS)合金材料,并用 IR、SEM 和 DSC 进行了表征。IR 检测到共混物在755 cm^(-1)和3030 cm^(-1)处苯环的吸收峰,证实了 PP-g-PS 接枝共聚物的存在;SEM 的分析表明加入 AlCl_3后体系的分散相颗粒减小,并且分散也更加均匀;DSC 的数据表明加入0.3% AlCl_3后体系的玻璃化转变温度(Y_g)由99.1℃下降到89.8℃,证明体系形成了相容区。 Blends of polypropylene (PP) with polystyrene (PS) were prepared by a reactive blending method. A Lewis acid catalyst, AlCl3, was employed to initiate the Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction between the components and the products were characterized using IR, SEM, and DSC. The ab- sorbance peaks of benzene at 755 cm^- 1 and 3 030 cm^- 1 on IR spectra suggested that Friedel-Crafts alky- lation did happen during reactive blending. SEM micrographs showed that the size of dispersed domains was decreased in the blends with AlCl3 introduced. DSC showed that the Tg of PS decreased from 99.1 ℃ to 89.8 ℃, which suggested the occurring of compatibilization.
