中国的国家身份是一个很受关注的问题。中国是当今世界最大的发展中国家;是目前国际社会中处于初级阶段的最主要的社会主义国家;是崛起中的大国;也是一个有较大国际影响的地区大国[。1]以上几种身份之间既有互补性的一面,也有不一致、相冲突的一面。通过分析这几种身份之间的关系,我们可以明确当前处于我国核心地位的身份是:崛起中的大国。

Presently, china is the biggest developing country in the world; the most important socialism state on its elementary stage; the regional power whose influence spreads over the world somewhere; the rising power. The interrelations among the identities mentioned above are both complementary and ambivalent. The analysis on the interrelations among the identities makes it clearly that, presently, china＇s most important identity is the rising power.
