Construction of an interbank e-trading system:Retrospection and future expectations

经过13年的建设与发展,中国外汇交易中心形成了依托专线网、互联网、声讯网三种接入方式的交易、清算、信息、监管等四大电子服务平台,面向银行间外汇、债券、货币、票据四个市场,提供询价、做市、竞价三种交易方式和交易、清算、信息三种市场服务,并成为人民币汇率和利率的定价中心。基于我国银行间市场电子交易系统建设的经验、市场发展的需要以及国际发展趋势,交易中心已经开始实施新的系统建设战略。

After 13 years＇ construction and development, the China Foreign Exchange Trade System （CFETS） has set up four major electronic service platforms of trading, clearing, information and supervision, based on three linking modes （dedicated line, internet, and telephone）. These four platforms serve the four markets of foreign exchange, bond, money and commercial paper by offering the three trading modes of OTC, market-making and price-matching, as well as the three services of trading, clearing and information. CFETS has now become the pricing center of RMB exchange rates and interest rates. Based on the experience of building the interbank e-trading system, requirements of the market development and development trends in the world, CFETS has started a new strategy to build systems.
