目的在对国外关于人格作为压力应对预测量研究的相关进展的总结基础上,深入了解人格与压力应对的关系。方法从特质的种类、人格的测量方法、研究领域等方面来探讨人格与压力应对研究的进展与方向。结果国外的研究已经从最初的单个人格因素与应对关系的研究发展到多因素的交互作用研究和纵向研究;从艾森克人格问卷发展到广泛使用大五人格问卷;在研究领域上从学生、教师发展到各种职业。结论人格是压力应对的一个长期的有效预测量.国内在该领域的研究亟需加强。

Objective Investigate the role of personality in coping based on the summarization of relevant progress in the researches on personality and coping. Methods Discussing the researches from different facets such as the types of the traits, measurement method of personality and research field etc. Results Evidence has accumulated showing that personality is related to stress experience and coping from some single basic personality traits to the combined effects of different personality traits; from Eysenck＇s personality system to the Big Five personality model; the research domain from the students, teachers, policemen to all kinds of occupations. Conclusion Personality is a valid long-predictor of coping. It should be strengthened in the field in China.
