According to Standard for Investigation Method of Corrosion and Protection of Steel Pipelines and Tanks （ SY/T 0087 - 95 ） and other standards, the corrosion prevention of the in-service medium pressure gas steel pipeline in a residential area is carried out, including corrosion estimation, renova- tion and repair of pipeline and antieorrosive layer, pipeline replacement, cathodic protection, feeding test and so on.
