Study of Synchronization Technique for Multi-tiled Display System

摘要 同步技术是多通道显示系统的关键技术之一,对于确保不同通道间的显示同步,提高显示画面质量具有重要的意义。以一个多通道显示系统(Multi-Tiled Display System,MTDS)为例,研究了多通道显示系统中同步技术的若干问题。首先提出该系统的架构,然后针对多通道显示的不同步问题,提出并实现消息控制同步算法(Message Control Synchronization Method,MCSM)。针对有系统中存在频繁数据读写的特点,提出循环缓存(Circular Buffer)模块的思想,并应用于多通道显示系统。实验证明,所提出的算法和技术手段有效地解决了多通道显示系统的不同步问题。 One of the crucial problems in multi-filed display system is synchronization problem. It is highly important to make sure the different channels displaying the scene simultaneously and promote the performance of the scene to display. Taking a multi-tiled display system (MTDS) as an example, the system architecture was studied, and a message control synchronization method was proposed which was capable of solving the non-synchronization problem of the MTDS, and a circular buffer solution was described which overcame the problem of lost packages under the circumstances of high frequency in reading or writing. Experimental results show that the solution solves the non-synchronization problem of the multi-tiled display system.
