从铁路运输、基本建设、更新改造与运输设备大修、工业生产、科技教育和劳动工资等方面总结了1996年铁路运输生产所取得的主要成就。
The paper introduces the major achievements of Chinese railways in 1996 in the following respects: transportation, capital construction, rebuilding and upgrading of tracks, overhaul of equipments, production of railway industry, scientific and technological education, labours' salary and etc.
