摘要
论述了提高旅客列车速度对改善运输服务和经营管理、节约投资、推动铁路科技进步的现实意义,介绍了一些国外铁路的提速措施,分析了提高旅客列车速度与铁路信号通信系统改造的关系,提出了铁路信号系统改造的总方向和若干具体问题。
The paper details the immediate significance of raising the speed of passenger trains to the improvement of transportation service and management and administration) saving investment and promotion of railway science and technology progress. It introduces some measures in raising the speed, analyses the relationship between the raising of speed for passenger trains and upgrading of the signalling and communication system and it further details the general direction and concrete problems of railway signalling upgrading.
