The paper introduces the actual method of the application of RTK in the power transmission line. According to the characteristics of the power transmission line assayes the fators which affect the RTK working and gives some methods to solve the questions of the RTK survey. The application of RTK in the power transmission line can not only improve work speed and quality but also can optimize the scheme of the route, there are evident economic benefits and wide application in prospect .
