从“以人为本”的视角看大众文化的先进性

View Progressiveness of Mass Culture from a "People First" Perspective

对大众文化的评价是一个颇多争议的问题。合理评价大众文化首先必须摈弃精英主义的视角,真正确立"以人为本"的正确视角。从这一视角出发,大众文化的先进性体现在:其一,大众文化提升了普通大众的文化主体地位;其二,大众文化蕴含着对人的感性欲求的尊重。现实中的大众文化虽有种种不足,但其内在的先进性决定了我们应该以建设性的态度去面对它。

The evaluation of mass culture is a controversial question. To give the culture a reasonable evaluation, we must view it from a ＂people first＂ perspective rather than from an elitism perspective. The progressiveness of mass culture gives expression to the fact that mass culture has raised the main body position of the general public, that mass culture contains respect to people＇s perceptual desire. Although there are some defects in mass culture, its progressiveness demands that we should take a constructive attitute towards it.
