In his book of A Critical History of Chinese Higher Education and his lecture to us, Professor Tu You - guang proposes a philosophical theory： Chinese traditional higher education is a kind of lifelong education, which starts from one＇ s 15 years old and goes through one＇ s whole life until death. When we try to give an interpretation to his thought, we find out that the essence of his thought consists of three aspects： education succeeding to the heaven, fixing the mind on learning and no graduation until one＇ s heart stop beating, The three aspects make up a whole system.
