P-cyclic Matrices and Block Accelerated Overrelaxation Method

For P- cyclic matrices, we first derive relationships between the sets of eigenvalues of theblock Jacobi iteration matrix and that of the associated block accelerated overelaxation (BAOR) iterationmatrix. Then, as an application, we determine the convergence and divergence regions for theBAGR methed for solving least-squares problems.
