基于粗糙集和小波矩的车牌字符识别

The Car's Plate Characters Recognition System of Rough Set And Wavelet Moment

文章首先提取车牌字符图像的小波矩特征,利用粗糙集理论进行属性约简,然后用神经网络对约简后的字符数据进行识别;实验结果表明,使用上述方法不仅使要处理的数据维数减小,从而降低了识别过程的复杂程度,而且有较高的识别率。

This paper firstly extracts the feature of wavelet momentfocus of car plate character image, reduces the attridute based on the theory of Rough Set… ,then idenrify the reduced character data with neural network. The experiment results shows that, the aboved method not only reducec the dimensions of the data to be processed so as to decrease the complexity of the idenrifying process,and also improve the rate of recognition.
