摘要
MicroRNAs(miRNAs)是一类含有大约22(18-24)个核苷酸的单链RNAs,属于非蛋白编码RNA。一般通过碱基互补与靶mRNA的3’端非翻译区(3’UTR)结合。根据碱基互补程度的不同,具有降解靶mRNA或抑制靶mRNA翻译的功能。miRNA对细胞的增殖、分化和凋亡有重要的调节作用,其在正常组织和肿瘤组织中的表达显著不同,参与了肿瘤的发生、发展和预后。该文主要讨论miRNA在肿瘤方面的研究进展。
MicroRNAs ( miRNAs ) are a class of about 22 ( 18 - 24 ) nucleotide non-coding, single-stranded RNA (ssRNA). According to the degree of base pairing to complementary sites within its 3'- untranslated region (3 'UTR ) , miRNA can degrade or negatively regulate the translation of target mRNA and can contribute to cell proliferation, cell differentiation and cell apoptosis. Between normal tissues and cancers , there are markedly different expressions of miRNAs that participate in cancer development, progression and prognosis. In this review,we will discuss the progress on the study of microRNA in cancer.
