The paper discusses the Chinese cultural genes in the poetry by Vietnamese poet Hu Chun--xiang and points out its hidden characteristics and significance of communication between Vietnamese and Chinese cultures. The author holds that the Chinese cultural genes in Hu＇s poetry comes from the poet＇s acceptance to Chinese folk literature, and that some examples and the ＂Tao- yuan＂ image exactly shows her detest to the worldly society and feudalism and her resistance to the darkness. During the process of accepting and assimilating Chinese culture, it is easily seen that the poet loves Chinese poetry.
