Sylvia Plath is the most talented one. Her poetry, reflecting his unique view towards death, conveys the idea that death symbolizes both immortality and rebirth and that ＂death is an art＂. This paper presents her view about death by analyzing one of her poems, ＂Point Shirley＂, i.e. physical death is not fearful since spirit is perpetual and long -lasting.
