The development, deepening and synthesis of equipment enviroranental engineering was discussed. Progress of weapons and equipments, along with development of new military revolution, makes the environmental influence a factor of battle effectiveness. The war practices show that traditional equipment environmental engineering, based on environmental parameter thresholds, can t fulfill the requirements for ＂win＂. A new way to resolve environmental influence is needed. An effective method to evaluate environmental influence can be found through analysis of the relation between environment and military to set up environmental influence assistant decision making mechanism, to clarify the contents and methods of equipment environmental engineering development, and to realize environmental influence benefit.
