Asynchronous serial communication based on DSPs C6000 series

介绍了TI公司的DSPs TMS320C6000系列DSPs的McBSP(多通道缓存串行口)以及该系列DSPs的EDMA(增强型直接存储器访问)的特性。重点介绍对McBSP、EDMA的寄存器设置,实现了一种简单可行的利用同步串口工作在异步串口方式。在此基础上给出了相关接收、发送以及数据处理的框架图。

This paper presents the design and implementation of asynchronous serial communication based on DSPs C6 × ×, which uses the features of McBSP and EDMA provided by TMS320C6 × of the TI Company. The register configurations of McBSP and EDMA are emphasized in this paper. A feasible and simple way that asynchronous serial port works under the condition of an asynchronous serial port is proposed. The block diagrams of data sending, receiving and processing are also illustrated in this paper.
