夫妇年龄差与生育率对婚姻挤压的影响

Couples' Age Difference and Fertility Rate: Their Influence on Marriage Squeeze

目前,我国仍然处于传统的婚配模式,理想的夫妇年龄差模式是在-1至4岁之间,即女大男一岁至男大女四岁。同时,我国的生育率出现不断下降的趋势。随着夫妇年龄差的增加,相对性别比有不断攀升的趋势,这种攀升的趋势既与夫妇年龄差模式有关,又与生育率下降有关。因而,扩大夫妇年龄差并不能有效减轻我国婚姻挤压的问题,而改变传统的婚配模式、鼓励女性选择比其年轻的男性作为择偶的对象,对于缓解婚姻挤压有一定的帮助。

The tradional marriage pattern still dominates in China. The ideal pattern of difference in couples＇ age is from -1 year to 4 years,that is, from that wife is one year older than husband to that husband is four years older than wife. And the fertility rate is decreasing. With the increase of difference in couples＇ age, the relative gender ratio is enlarging, which is associated not only with the pattern of difference in couples＇ age but with the descending fertility rate. Consequently, enlarging the difference in couples＇ age can＇t relieve the marriage squeeze in China. Earnest efforts must be devoted to changing the traditional marriage pattern and encouraging women choose younger men as their mates, which may be helpful for marriage squeeze.
