Problems and Countermeasures for English Learning of First-year Non-English Majors in College

大学新生入学后,由于受到高中教学方法的影响,不能适应大学强调学生自主学习的氛围,致使学生的成绩不能得到有效提高。本文旨在通过对非英语专业大学新生英语学习策略使用频率的调查,找出困扰新生外语学习的主要因素,并探寻教师在教学中帮助和引导他们快速适应大学英语学习方式的有效途径。

When the students influenced by the teaching methods in the senior middle school, enter the college, they can＇t cultivate their ability to study independently at college as to not to do well in English learning. This paper aims to study and analysis the current situation in English learning of 84 first-year non-English majors in Xiangfan University, and suggestions are then given as to how to improve the teaching effect.
