"卡努"台风在2005年9月11日夜间至13日早晨穿越浙江、江苏进入东海期间,嘉兴及相邻的杭州余杭稻区出现褐飞虱突增现象,分析表明11日和12日傍晚虫源地(江淮地区)的气象条件有利于褐飞虱的起飞,11日夜间台风中心附近强烈的辐合气流和12日夜间台风后部的偏北气流有利于褐飞虱在空中向江南稻区输送运行,11日夜间嘉兴等地的台风暴雨和12日夜间850hPa切变线的存在有利于褐飞虱在该地区降落,说明褐飞虱突增现象与"卡努"台风影响过程关系密切,故对9月中旬前后台风中心经过稻区的褐飞虱防治应增加重视度。
A sudden increase of Nilaparvata lugens appeared in the rice area at Jiaxing and Hangzhou when typhoon Kanu crossed Zhejiang and Jiangsu Province and subsequently headed to the East China Sea from the night of September 11^th to the early morning of September 13thin 2005. Results showed that the sudden increase of Nilaparvata lugens was highly associated with Kanu. Firstly, on the evening of both Sep11^th and Sep 12^th, the weather conditions of Nilaparvata lugens' source area (Changjiang - Huaihe region) were favorable for their flying - off. Secondly, the strong convergent stream near the center of Kanu on the night of Sep 11 ^th and the northerly current at the rear of Kanu on the night of Sep 12^th were also advantageous to the transportation of Nilaparvata lugens in the air. Thirdly, the typhoon and the rainstorm on the night of Sep 1 1^th at Jiaxing and the 850 hPa - level shear line on the night of Sep 12^th were beneficial to Nilaparvata lugens' landing. Based on the effects of typhoon Kanu on the sudden increase of Nilaparvata lugens, more actions should be taken to prevent Nilaparvata lugens increase after the typhoon center pass by the rice area in the middle ten days of September.
