The anger of Achilles is the core issue of integrating the plot of The Iliad, and this has become a common sense concerning the theme of Homer Epic. In fact, the actual protagonist of The Iliad is Iliad, whose doomed fate is the most profound and sorrowful suffering in the densely depicted war in this epic. The soul and symbol of Iliad is the hero Hector who appears on the scene most frequently in The Iliad and is definitely the central figure on the battlefield of the Iliad. His tragic doom declares the fall of Iliad. The anger of Achilles is just the introduction to the structure of The Iliad and the tragic climax and the focus of integrating the plot lie in the death of Hector in the complete works.
