本文针对"故宫博物院藏铜镜展"中的一件展品,帐簿记录其为宋代,但作者认为纹饰不及宋代细腻,重量也偏轻。结合铜镜上的铭文,作者考证其为金代,是为贺生女之喜而送的礼物。

The author examines one piece included in an exhibition of ancient Chinese bronze mirrors in the Palace Museum,but the author takes issue with the cataloguing of the piece as a Song Dynasty item and maintains that the piece has none of the finesse of genuine Song examples and is also too light in weight.On the basis of the inscriptions on the piece,the author dates it to the Jin Dynasty and identifies it as a gift prepared to commemorate the birth of a baby girl.
