The remaining oil in the middle and high water-cut stages are the important targets to increase production for the old oil fields at home and abroad. The anisotropism and the fluid characters of the macro-geology and the micro-reservoir of petroleum reservoir are the main factors to impact on the distribution of remaining oil. The established reservoir models and modeled distribution of the reservoir after the second segment of Ken71 fault block was synthetically studied to provide support for the further development and increasing recovery of the reservoir.
