Investigating in Seal Method for the Top of Steel Pipe Hydraulic Test Machine

回顾了我国钢管水压试验机管端密封材料的发展历史，分析了三种静水压试验管端密封形式的特点，认为在水压试验前对管端进行火焰平头处理，并采用新型优质密封圈以及新型端面密封结构，能提高密封性能，降低生产成本。

In this paper, the development progress of the seal material, which is used to sealing pipe top for domestic steel pipe hydralic test machine, is reviewed, the characteristics of three sealing pipe top methods for statical hydraulic test are analyzed, and then point out, to deal with the pipe tops smooth by fire before the test, to use the new type seal washers and the new seal structure on the pipe tops, that will improve the sealing properties and lower the production costs.
