On February 11, 2007, Drew G. Faust, a 59-year-old historian, took the president post. She is the 28th president of Harvard and the first female president in the history of Harvard. However, this is not the point. Before the president, Mrs. Faust was the dean of the Radcliffe Institute, one of the smallest insti- tutes in Harvard. Mrs. Faust was an elected president. The average serving time of the 27 predecessors before her is about 14 years…All of the above should provoke our thinking.
