Design of High-speed Commercial Cable Modem Service Based on QoS Service Flows and Bandwidth Reserved Policy

高速商务CM业务是有线宽频运营商亟需发展的高端业务，采取基于QoS业务流机制和CMTS带宽预留机制的方案实现商务CM业务，在网络拥塞环境中进行商务CM业务与普通CM业务的流量竞争测试，达到了开展高端业务的性能要求，这对有线宽频运营商的同类业务开展有一定的参考作用。

High-speed commercial cable modem service is a sophisticated service that needs to be developed by cable broadband service operator. In this paper, QoS service flows of DOCSIS1, 1 and bandwidth reserved policy of CMTS are adopted to implement high-speed commercial CM service. And the traffic competition between high-speed commercial CM service and general CM service in network congestion environment is tested. The outcome of the test verifies that this CM service can satisfy the performance request of the sophisticated service. The scheme proposed in this paper provides an effective theory in reference to developing similar services of cable broadband providers.
