古罗马-古代中国关系史是近年来中西交通史研究领域的热门话题之一，法国学者罗贝尔的《从罗马到中国》一书颇具代表性。但是该书的中译本却在翻译方面存在诸多问题，有理解及表达错误、知识性错误等，在很大程度上损害了原著所应有的学术价值。

The history of ancient Sino-Roman relationship is one of the recent hot topics in the domain of the study on the history of communication between China and the West,in which De Romeàla Chine by French scholar Robert is atypical one.But there are many problems in its Chinese translation,including grammatical mistakes and informative mistakes,etc.,which reduce the academic value of the original work largely.
