On Cultivation of Innovative Ability of University Students

建设创新型国家,关键在人才;国际竞争"说到底,是人才的竞争,是民族创新能力的竞争",无论是科技创新、知识创新,还是民族创新能力的提高,关键在人才;人才的培养在教育。高校既是创新人才培养的主要渠道,又是高层次创新人才集聚的战略高地。创新能力是创新人才的核心。

The key factor of constructing innovative country lies in talented persons. The essence of international competition is the competition of talented persons and that of the national innovative ability. Talented persons are the key link in scientific innovation, knowledge innovation and the improvement of national innovative ability. The cultivation of talented persons depends on education. University is both the main channel of cultivating innovative talented persons and the strategic highland of the aggregation of high level talented persons. Innovative ability is the core of innovative talents. This article expounds the following aspects： the connotation of innovation and characteristics of talented persons, analysis of current situation of undergraduates＂ innovative ability, the cultivating way of undergraduates＂ innovative ability.
