Comparative Study of English and Chinese Rhythm

由于英语和汉语自身的结构不同,英语和汉语的节奏也有明显的差异。通过对英语和汉语的节奏的特点进行对比,可以找出两种语言常用的节奏型,并对其为了达到其节奏型而采用的方法和作出的调整进行分析和列举,能够使广大英语学习者在今后的英语学习过程中注意到英汉语不同的节奏特点,提高自身的英语能力。

Because of the different structures of English and Chinese, their rhythms are different too. In this paper the author compares the rhythms of English and Chinese, displays their main rhythm patterns and reveals the method they used to adjust their rhythm, in hope that it＇ s helpful to improve the English learner＇s language proficiency.
