A discussion is made of the ways of enhancing the capacity of the smelting plant in handling secondary materials. It was found that the secondary materials used could reach a fraction of 30.97% of the total concentrate by strengthening the control of the sintefing process and employing the ISP technique. The environment could thus be improved and the production cost cut down.
