An Evaluation of Information Ecology Value Based on Contingent Valuation Method——Taking the Urban Public Library as An Example

简述信息生态的概念并强调信息生态价值评估的现实意义;引入条件价值评估法作为评价信息生态价值的有力工具,介绍其理论基础、发展情况并分析其应用于信息生态环境之一的公共图书馆价值评估的可行性;阐述基于条件价值评估法的公共图书馆价值评价所包括的4个阶段以及需要注意的一些问题,最后呼吁在实践工作中使用条件价值评估法。

This paper briefly expatiates the concept of information ecology and highlights the importance of the information ecology evaluation. By introducing the Contingent Valuation Method（CVM） as a useful tool in the evaluation of information ecology, the paper discusses its basic theory and development, especially analyzes its feasibility when applied to one of the information ecology： urban public library. Then the paper discusses the four stages of the evaluation of the public library value which based on CVM and some problems. And finally the paper evokes the researchers to use the CVM in the practical work.
