摘要
经济全球化的发展在带来新的发展机遇和市场空间的同时,也带来了严峻的挑战和激烈的国际竞争。本文探讨了知识密集型服务业国际化进程中本国市场的价值,并在此基础上研究了国际化进程中的"本国依托"战略。由于知识密集型服务业在国际化进程中面临比制造业更多的不确定性,因此,更要强化"本国依托"意识,即不能放弃本国市场,要做大做强本国市场,为国际化提供稳固的保障。这一点对于我国这样的发展中国家尤其重要。
With globalization of the world economy, firms are facing not only new markets and development opportunities but also severe challenges and international competition as well. This article investigates the unique value of home country market for the internationalization of Knowledge Intensive Business Services (KIBS).We contend that because it is more uncertain for KIBS to go global than traditional manufacturing firms, they should rely on rather than give up their own home country market. This home country-based strategy can provide solid base for the internalization, which is particularly important to KIBS from developing economies.
