In four aspects-planning principles, ecological affections, urban image and culture continuing, this paper points out the remarkable characters of the master plan of World EXPO Park Shanghai. The park will be a wonderful open space along the Huangpu River, a peculiar region and the green hall of Shanghai. The general concept will help Shanghai to be a harmonious city. Furthermore, in the points of first-phase planning, organization, and project management, it discusses the most important initial factors in its realizing and its experience to urban developing.
