My Humble Opinion on Improving the Overall Quality of the Landscape Design Industry

简述风景园林规划设计行业发展历程,展望21世纪的历史责任,结合实际,提出学习中国园林传统精髓,汲取外国园林艺术有益部分,完善风景园林高等教育,苦练内功,深入实践,认真掌握风景园林设计知识,规范行业准入制度,全面提高行业的整体素质。

The development course of the landscape planning and design industry is briefly introduced and its historical responsibilily in the 21^st century is prospected. Linking with the realily, it is proposed that the essence of traditional Chinese landscape architedure should be studied, the useful part of foreign landscape arts should be drawn, and the higher education for landscape architecture should be improved. The overall quality of the industry should be improved through strengthening the professional capabilities, emphasizing practices, mastering the knowledge of landscape design, and standardizing the industry-entry system.
