建筑位于艾斯堡的比卡耶尔维湖畔,钢结构跌落式平台直伸湖中。大小为1．8m×17.2m的矩形建筑基地被一个窄窄的院落划分为住宅与其他建筑两部分。建筑的入口与一般城镇建筑相似,立面非常狭窄,但向湖面方向逐渐加宽,沿湖一侧的台地有节奏地跌落,向湖中伸展。在最高点，建筑的最底层地面到最高外墙上边缘的高度为10.8m。
The building site is on lake Pitkajarviin Espoo. It forms a steel slope running down to the lake. The built area is an 11 .8m×17.2m rectangle divided into house and outbuilding by a narrow yard. This is narrow and town like at the entrance but widens out rhythmically into a terrace facing the lake At its highest point from the lowest floor level to the upper edge of the highest outside wall the building is 10.8 m high.
