This article on the foundation of briefly research the Web Small - World characters and the mecha- nism of forming Small- World net. Emphatically analyses that the technologies and methods of deeply researching Small- World characters for Web sites and Web pages by Webometric theory, and comparing research results. At the same time, this article discusses the application of Web Small - World characters in network information environment.
