本文在阐述IT外包含义的基础上,运用制度经济学分析工具,建立了IT外包形成的分析框架。从IT外包服务商的视角出发,分别从网络外部性、降低交易费用、规模经济和减少经营风险四个方面系统分析了IT外包之所以形成和发展的原因。

Based on explaining the meaning of IT Outsourcing, this article set up an analytical framework ior explaining the formation of IT outsoureing by means of institutional economies tools. From the perspective of IT outsoureing supplier, We conclude the IT Outsoureing has come into being and booms quickly because the vendor has four important functions： network externality, reducing transaction cost, economies of scale and reducing the exchange risk.
