The Role of Government Function and Financial Needs in Agricultural Insurance Development

从当前我国农业保险的现状出发,分析了对农业保险实行财政补贴的必要性,提出了政府支持农业保险的方案,并指出了政府补贴推进中应注意的问题。

Agricultural insurance system was an important component of agricultural support and protection to guard against the risk of agriculture as well as to protect the interests of farmers. And it played an important role in promoting the sustainable development of rural economy, China＇s agricultural-insurance was at a low level of development. One of the reasons was the lack of government support and financial subsidies. Therefore, the government＇s preferential policies for agricultural insurance and financial subsidies appeared to be particularly important.
