王屋山即古昆仑考辨

Textual Investigation on "Wangwu Mountain is the Ancient Kunlun"

中国的山川河流和地名,往往随着历史的发展和时代的变迁而常有易名之事。一般认为地处帕米尔高原的昆仑山就是古昆仑,而忽视了地处中原的王屋山在古代也曾有古昆仑之称。笔者从神话传说、文化典籍和山岳形胜等方面进行考证,认为古昆仑就是王屋山。

It is common that the names of mountains, rivers and places changed with the development of the history. It is commonly accepted that Kunlun Mountain over the Pamirs is the ancient Kunlun. But it is neglected that Wangwu Mountain in the Central Plain was also called ancient Kunlun. Textual investigation from legends, myths and cultural ancient books are made and conclusion is drawn that the ancient Kunlun is Wangwu Mountain.
