Cognitive Grammar and Shi's Dictionary of Chinese-English Translation

《史氏汉英翻译大词典》是国内外首部汉英翻译大词典。本文从其编纂宗旨"惑"与"解惑"出发,结合认知语法中的自主、依存概念来分析该词典在收词、立目、释义、译例等方面潜在的认知规律以及编纂特色。

Shi＇ s Dictionary of Chinese-English Translation is the first dictionary of such kind both at home and abroad. By adopting the concepts of Autonomy and Dependency in Cognitive Grammar, the present paper expounds some unique characteristics of the dictionary from four aspects, viz entry selection, entry arrangement, definition and translation of examples, so as to probe into the internal cognitive principles employed in the process of dictionary compilation.
