生态整体主义与可持续发展思想

Ecological Holism and the Idea of Sustainable Development

生态整体主义标志着环境哲学领域出现了一种新范式。这种新范式使人们逐步认识到自然界是一个有机整体,人与自然应该是一种真正平等、公正的关系,人自身为实现人、社会、生态的可持续发展的生态文明做出了积极贡献。因此,我们对生态整体主义进行考察和探究之后,产生一个问题:生态整体主义是否可以成为“可持续发展的指导思想”?笔者认为生态整体主义在某种意义上可以是一种人与自然的整体主义世界观,这对于可持续发展观是可以借鉴的,但是绝对不能成为可持续发展观的指导思想。

Ecological holism indicates the emergence of a new paradigm of environmental philosophy. This new paradigm lets people come to realize that nature is an organic whole. The relations between man and nature should be equal and fair. This new paradigm makes a positive contribution to the ecosystem where human beings, society and ecology can acquire sustainable development. Therefore, after conducting investigations and inquiries on the ecological holism, the question comes into being： ecological holism can become＂the guiding principle of sustainable development＂？ In a sense, the ecological holism can be a holistic world outlook, which is useful for sustainable development, but it can not become the guiding principle of sustainable development.
