摘要
词汇是英语学习的一项重要内容,对中国的英语学习者词汇学习过程研究表明,母语为汉语的英语学习者在词汇学习过程中会受到母语认知思维方式的影响而对英语词汇词义的揭示和联想出现偏差,对记忆规律的了解以及对记忆内容的信息加工程度影响记忆痕迹的深浅,而对词汇学习策略缺乏全面的、系统的掌握将会使英语词汇学习长期处于盲目的低效费时状态。
Vocabulary plays an important role in English learning. Exploration and study of the Chinese English learners' vocabulary learning process show that factors like native cognition and way of thinking, memory and information processing levels and the vocabulary learning strategies all have great influence on English vocabulary learning efficiency. Native cognition and way of thinking affect the access of word meaning and the understanding of figurative word meanings. Knowledge about the rule of memory and the depths of word information processing influence the storage of the learning material. What's more, to most Chinese English learners, the English vocabulary learning will be in a state of blindness, time-consuming and low efficiency for a long time without a comprehensive and systematic mastery of vocabulary learning strategies.
