The drama and personage were carried on the new analysis in the text from the angle of structuralism criticism, the results showed that ＂The Merchant of Venice＂ was a comedy with characters of lampoon and lyrical, as the heroine of ironic comedy, Shylock was one Jew businessman with personality greedy, disposition cruel and ferocious. His aesthetic character belonged to comedy all the time.
