我国古代佛经翻译对后世翻译的发展产生了深刻的影响,它不但影响了后世翻译的翻译理论、方法、形式,甚至是汉语言的词汇和文法,而且促成了中国文学新体——白话文体的产生。

The fast climaxes in Chinese translation history was Buddhism translation of China. It exerted great influences on Chinese language and literature. It not only influenced the vocabulary and grammar of Chinese, but also made into shape a new literary style-writing in vernacular, and stimulated us to put more emphasis on formal composition.
