Eat Drink Man Woman,directed by Li An,is a popular film showing family ethics,which presents the conflicts between tradition and modern in cultures,values,life orders,and how to deal with the conflicts in order to rebuilt new order and inherit the culture.In the film Mr.Li explores breakup and rebuilding of families,estrangement and mixture between tradition and modern.He attempts to find out a conversion mode between tradition and modern,which results in the appearance of the film.
