Marfan's Syndrome in Athletes

本文报道了2例首先应用超声心动图检查发现的患有Marfan氏综合征的现役优秀运动员,并对Marfan氏综合征的临床表现、诊断标准、处理方法等进行了系统的阐述。指出鉴于Marfan氏综合征常具有身材瘦高,腿长臂长等符合某些运动项目(如排球、篮球、跳高等)选材要求的特点,因而在选拔运动员时应提高对本征的警惕,必须进行常规的全面而系统的体格检查(包括超声心动图检查)。Marfan氏综合征合并有主动脉扩张的运动员必须立即停止参加训练和比赛,以免加剧病情,防止运动性猝死的发生。

Marfan's syndrome was diagnosed in two elite athletes who were engaging in normal training and competition. The clinical manifestations, diagnostic standards and management of Marfan's syndrome were systematically reviewed. It is emphasized that because some of the skeletal abnormalities of Marfan's syndrome meet the standard for talent identification, it is very important to conduct completely and systematically physical examination, including echocardiography before the athletes are elected. It is pointed out that physical training and competition must be strictly prohibited for these athletes with aortic dilation to avoid sudden death.
